CHARLESTON -- Beverly Dianne Chandler Stark, 67, died March 8, 2012, at her home.
Born Dec. 12, 1944, at Jonesboro, Ark., to the late J.C. and M. Ernestine House Chandler, she was a 1962 graduate of Charleston High School. She had worked for the Charleston R-1 School District a number of years. A graduate of Arkansas State University at Jonesboro, she was a registered nurse and had been employed by St. Bernard Hospital and the Methodist Hospital in Jonesboro before returning to Charleston where she was employed as a nurse for the Mississippi County Detention Center in Charleston.
She married Charles L. Stark who survives of Charleston.
Also surviving are: one son, Charles Matthew Stark of Charleston; one sister, Helen L. Chandler Ezzell of Bertrand; and some nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy J. Chandler, and one sister, Dody Hook.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. Monday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Jon Archie, pastor of the Elm Street Baptist Church of Charleston, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston.
