Benton resident is sentenced to 30 years on sodomy charge

NEW MADRID - A man charged with sodomizing a young child will spend the next 30 years in prison.

Jonathan T. Ervin, whose address is listed as Benton on Missouri's Case.net, was sentenced by Judge Fred Copeland Tuesday to serve 30 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
