BENTON -- Levi Stephen Collom, 3, died March 18, 2012, at Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis of a cause yet to be determined.
Levi's life was filled with joy, a loving family and many pre-school and church friends. He enjoyed many activities such as going to the Discovery Playhouse in Cape Girardeau, going to Current River with his family and playing with his sister, Victoria. He spent a lot of time riding his John Deere Gator, jumping on his trampoline, playing with his Batman and Spiderman toys and watching Power Rangers on TV and Spiderman on YouTube. Levi's favorite color was orange and his favorite foods were pigs in a blanket, macaroni and cheese and mandarin oranges.
Survivors include: his parents, Glenn and Ellen "Ellie" Collom, and one sister, Victoria, of Benton; maternal grandparents, Steve and Viney Mosley of Cape Girardeau; a paternal grandmother, Bobbi Collom of Sikeston; a great-grandmother, Maxine Woods of Sikeston; two aunts, Cindy St. Onge (Paul) of Fulton, Tenn., and Lauren Snider (Christopher) of Cape Girardeau; and three uncles, Jimmy Woods of Sikeston, Gil Collom (Christina) of Yuma, Ariz., and Chuck Collom of Biehle.
Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Steve Woods and Charles Collom, and great-grandfather, James "Jim" Woods, all formerly of Sikeston.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Thursday with Ron Watts, pastor of Cape La Croix United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau, officiating.
Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Cemetery in Morley.
