WYATT -- Quarley Johnson, 51, died at 1:40 p.m. March 18, 2012, at his home.
Born May 4, 1960, at Fort Campbell, Ky., to Lela Maumee Miller Brown of Talladega, Ala., and the late Norvel Napoleon Johnson, he was a U.S. Army veteran and had lived in Wyatt for the past several years.
He is survived by: three daughters and two sons-in-law, Casey and Gary Tondre of Ft. Hood, Texas, Stephanie and Gary Troy of Kansas City, Mo., and Amy Smith of Valrico, Fla.; one half brother, James Johnson of Talladega; two half sisters, Ramona Johnson of Talladega and Charlotte Johnson of Mesa, Ariz.; four stepbrothers, Clyde Summers of East Prairie and Jerry Summers, Russell Summers and David Summers of Sikeston; nine grandchildren; and a special friend, Cora Thurman of Wyatt.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Ruby Hamilton Johnson, one stepsister, Gail Summers, and two sisters, Cathy Hebenstreit and Frances Johnson.
At his request, no services will be held.
The Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
