COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Ralph Patterson, 75, formerly of Charleston and Morehouse, Mo., died March 19, 2012, at a hospital in Colorado Springs.
Born Dec. 28, 1936, at Charleston, son of the late Clarence and Emma Lingle Patterson, he attended Morehouse schools before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force in 1954. He retired from the Air Force in 1974 and had been employed as a school bus driver in Colorado Springs at the time of this death.
In Phoenix, Ariz., he married Pat Eiklor who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Sarah Patterson of Denver; two daughters and sons-in-law, Terri and Pat Maiorano of Colorado Springs and Peggy and John Moore of Albuquerque, N.M.; one brother, James Patterson of Cummings, Ga.; three sisters, Arvetta Kroener of Colonial Heights, Va., and Mildred Wilson and Belinda Kitchen of Sikeston, Mo.; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in addition to his parents were three brothers, Allen Patterson, Clarence Patterson Jr. and Marshall Patterson.
Services were held March 24 at Goose Gossage Park in Colorado Springs.
