Gladys Welch

CHAFFEE -- Gladys Marie Welch, 72, died March 27, 2012, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

Born June 18, 1939, in Marble Hill, to the late Jim and Virginia Pouge Long, she worked at Columbia Sportswear in Chaffee.

Survivors include: one son, Tracy Welch of Dalton, Ga.; one sister, Mary Horton of Jackson; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Welch; two brothers and three sisters.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. until time of services at 10 a.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee with the Rev. Don Leggett officiating.
