DEXTER -- Pauline Levart, 71, died March 28, 2012, at her home.

Born June 26, 1940, in Dexter, to the late Paul Parker and Vivian Hunt Patterson, she was a homemaker. A former employee of Elders Manufacturing and co-owner of Malden Lime Company, she attended the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield.

On Dec. 28, 1957, in Hernando, Miss., she married Homer Ray Levart who preceded her in death on May 13, 2011.

She was also preceded in death by one half brother, William Paterson.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Cary G. and Vanita Levart of Essex; two daughters and son-in-laws, Karen S. and Wade Griffin of Bloomfield and Carla E. and Pete Darnell of Jackson; one sister, Linda Williams; and four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Kevin Eskew officiating.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
