SIKESTON -- An ongoing drug investigation has led to the arrest of two Sikeston brothers.
Demarco Simpson, 25, and his brother, Laumphiauma Simpson, 22, were each charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and drug trafficking in the second degree, according to Sikeston Department of Public Safety.
A search warrant was served Thursday at 332 E. Gladys St. where the Simpsons were found, said Lt. Jim McMillen, public information officer for DPS.
"The house was secured by the Sikeston's Special Operations Group and sitting on the kitchen table was a set of digital scales and two plastic bags with white rock-like substance believed to be crack cocaine," McMillen said.
