SIKESTON -- Bonny Harris admits she can't imagine life without her local library.
"I would be devastated. I've been coming here since I was a little girl," Harris said Monday as she combed the mystery section of the Sikeston Public Library.
Harris said the library has always played a role in her life.
"Since I was 10 years old, every two weeks I would check out a book," Harris recalled.
