KENNESAW, Ga. -- Charlotte Marie Collins Huffstutter, 81, formerly of Charleston, Mo., died April 6, 2012, in Austell.
Born Sept. 7, 1930, in Tiptonville, Tenn., to the late William and Virginia Collins, she was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. After working as a teacher at Bell City and Charleston, she was the school counselor at Hearnes Elementary School until her retirement in May 1990. She also worked part time in adult education programming.
Survivors include: her husband, George Robert Huffstutter of Kennesaw; one son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Rita Huffstutter of West Monroe, La.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Jan and Larry Page of Cherry Hill Village, Colo., and Kim Huffstutter of Fairmont; two brothers, George Collins of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Lowell Collins of Union City, Tenn.; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Collins.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Burnt Hickory Church of Christ in Kennesaw.
