ESSEX -- Robert Lee Edwards, 79, died April 12, 2012, at his home.
Born June 21, 1932, in Canalou, to the late Lewis Lee and Daisy Ann Baker Edwards, he had lived in Essex most of his life and was of the Pentecostal belief.
On Nov. 25, 1950, in Essex, he married Dorothy Lee Gromer who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Mike Edwards of Dexter; two daughters, Rebecca Edwards of Essex and Linda Cloninger of Brownwood; one brother, Charles Edwards of Bloomfield; two sisters, June Hunsaker of Dexter and Pansy Jones of the state of Michigan; and 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two infant sisters, Ruth Tussing and Hazel Edwards, and one grandson, Michael Trammell.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m Saturday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with Ronnie McAtee of Advance officiating.
Burial will be in the West Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Bloomfield.
