MARSTON -- Christine Redden, 87, died April 13, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in New Madrid.
Born Sept. 24, 1924, in New Madrid County, she was the daughter of the late Mary Etta Moss and Dewey Samples.
On Feb. 4, 1945, in Portageville, she married Lawson redden, who preceded her in death March 5, 2003.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leman Samples and Wilbur Samples.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Regina Redden and Wyman and Becky Redden of Marston; three daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Alan Thomason of Marston, Mary Lou and Jerome Woolsey of Greenville, Tenn., and Skyla and Jimmy Ash of Marston; two sisters, Maneen Carter and Wilma Allen of Niles, Mich.; one brother, Shelton Samples of Portageville; and nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Jason Redden will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Dustin Redden, Shawn Walker, Jason Redden, Clay Finley, Shannon Sprouse and Barry Thomason.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Keith Redden, Tyler Sprouse, Parker Sprouse, Jackson Redden, Kristila Sprouse, Autumn Crawford and Leslie Branum.
