CABOT, Ark. -- Pauline Sanders Hilton, 91, died April 14, 2012, at the Cabot Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born May 5, 1920, in Micola, Mo., to the late William and Nora Sanders, she lived most of her life in East Prairie, Mo., and worked for Adkison Store and later the IGA Food Store. She was an active member of the Church of Christ in East Prairie until she left in 1997 to live with her daughter in Oxford, Miss.
On Jan. 30, 1943, in St. Louis, she married Maurice Hilton who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters.
Survivors include: two daughters and a son-in-law, Margie and Gene Cullen of Oxford and Ramona Naramore; of Memphis, Tenn.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Denny and Karen Hilton of Cabot and Richard and LaRue Hilton of Starkville, Miss.; and 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pat Hogan officiating.
Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
