SIKESTON - Sikeston High School musicians proved to be outstanding when they performed at the District Music festival. So what have they done since then? Practice, practice, practice in hopes of becoming perfect.

On April 28, some two dozen singers and performers will go back on the road for state competition at the University of Missouri - Columbia. SHS Orchestra Director Agatha (Gay) French describes the event like the "Final Four" for the young musicians.

"As a music department we are really proud of the kids. It is an honor to be able to go to state and perform," she said.
