DEXTER -- Emma Mae Niehaus, 90, died April 15, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Dexter.
Born Feb. 13, 1922, in Bernie, to the late Edward and Velma Crain Fritts, she was a housewife and had worked at Medler's Cleaners in Dexter. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Dexter.
On June 4, 1938, at Risco, she married Herman Niehaus Jr., who preceded her in death on Oct. 14, 1999.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Hampton and Barbara Ann Fritts.
Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Martha and Larry Steimle of Wappapello and Wanda and Vader Stultz of Gallatin, Tenn.; two brothers, Wilfred Fritts of Flint, Mich., and George Fritts of Kirkwood; three sisters, Eva McKinley of Dexter, Delores Stalling of Malden and Betty Killian of Poplar Bluff; and seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
