DONIPHAN -- Margie Worley, 89, died April 17, 2012, at her home near Doniphan.
Born Nov. 28, 1922, in Como, to the late Charles Clinton and Lola Blanch Taylor Boyt, she had lived most of her life in Stoddard County before moving to Doniphan three years ago. She was a member of the Grandin Full Gospel Holiness Church in Grandin where she served as a board member. She had worked at Elder Manufacturing and at area nursing homes.
She married Eldridge Sebb Worley who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Earl Clinton Boyt and two in infancy, Doyle Edward Boyt and Clarence Albert Boyt, and two sisters, Mary Ellen Morgan and Pansy Ilene Hopkins.
Survivors include: one son, Dale Worley of Bloomfield; two brothers, Leonard Boyt of Puxico and Perry Boyt of Dexter; three sisters, Gloria Clowes of Marble Hill, Donna Boykin of Doniphan and Dorothy O'Neal of Puxico, and two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Friday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Randy Robinson of Dexter officiating.
Burial will follow in the Barker Cemetery near Bernie.
