Chester Thomas

NEW MADRID -- Chester Thomas, 66, died April 17, 2012, at his home.

Born Sept. 17, 1945, in Fort Gordon, Ga., he was the son of the late Wilma Goodman Thomas and Chester Lee Thomas.

On July 30, 20222, in Holts Summit, he married Brenda Kingston who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: four sons and two daughters-in-law, Jarrett Lee and Lisa Thomas of Springfield, Tracy and Angie Hill of New Madrid, Jeremy Hulshof of Holts Summit and Richard David Hulshof of Cordova, Tenn.; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Sondra Lyn Thomas and Bryan Mulvey of Festus, Shannon Lea and Mike Harris of Houston, Mo., Brittnee Noel Thomas of Fulton and Mischell and Eddie Villa and Carmen Lynn and Mike Beck of Holts Summit; one sister, Judy Mae Thomas of Wentzville; and 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Paul Thomas.

Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. today at the DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville. Visitation will continue from noon until time of services at 2 p.m. Friday at the New Life Ministries Church in New Madrid. The Rev. Scott Sutton will officiate.

Burial with full military rites will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery in Lilbourn.
