Work on the reconstruction of the intersection of Kennedy Drive where it meets North Main began Tuesday morning. The work, which is being done by Lappe Cement Finishing of Perryville, should take three to five days, according to Steve Lee, street superintendent. All motorists and residents in the area are asked to use alternate routes to avoid this and other construction sites and are encouraged to use caution when in construction areas.
