SIKESTON -- John C. Robertson, 65, died April 19, 2012, at his home.
Born April 3, 1947, in Summerfield, N.C., son of the late Norman Cleveland and Mable Howerton Robertson, he had lived in Florida, before moving to Bloomfield and then to Sikeston where he lived the past five years. He had worked in management for Stanley Steamer and was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
On Oct.15, 1977, in Greensboro, N.C., he married Linda James who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Annette Williams and Stephanie McElroy of Sikeston, Daryl Ann Kelly of Doniphan and Tina Nugent of the state of Idaho; one brother, Paul Robertson of Stokedale, N.C.; three sisters, Diane Hold of Summerfield, Norma Middleton of Oakridge, N.C., and Margie Bailey of Kernersville, N.C.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence Robertson.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Monday at the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield. The Rev. Kevin Eskew of Bloomfield will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
The Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
