DEXTER -- Helen Beatress Zuck, 82, died April 20, 2012, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Born July 4, 1929, in Parma, to the late Benjamin Thomas and Eva May Schumpert Sanders, she had grown up in Parma and had lived the past 20 years in Dexter. She was employed by Kneibert Clinic as a janitor and was a member of the Faith Fellowship Bible Way Church in Dexter.
On Nov. 22, 1947, in East Prairie, she married Francis Zuck who preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1992.
She was also preceded in death by three children in infancy, one daughter, Janice Zuck, and one brother, Thomas James Sanders.
Survivors include: one daughter, Brenda Sue Chaney of Dexter; two sons, Francis Zuck Jr. of Bellevue, Ohio, and Travis Wayne Zuck of Hutchenson, Kan.; two brothers, T.J. Sanders of Bloomfield and Charles Sanders of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Katherine Baker of Joplin; and nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Shirley McRoy of Dexter officiating.
Burial will be in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
