BENTON -- Loretta Jean Bom, 71, died April 22, 2012, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born Jan. 12, 1941, in Tulare, Calif., to Andrew and Vera Davis Shively, she was a seamstress for Columbia Sportswear and Thorngate.
On Feb. 14, 1954, in East Prairie, she married Robert D. Bom who survives.
Other survivors include: four sons, Charles Bom of New Madrid, Robert L. Bom of Pacific, Daniel Bom of Sedalia and Tedie Hill of East Prairie; a daughter, Sonya Allen of Benton; a brother, Bob Shively of East Prairie; three sisters, Linda Brown of Mt. Vernon, Ill., Carolyn Mackey of Julian, Calif., and Mary Jerry of Campbell, Ohio; and 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and twin sons, Terry Bom and Gary Bom.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Benton.
No services are planned.
