ESSEX -- Allean Triplett, 96, died April 23, 2012, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
Born Feb. 20, 1916, in Bernie, to the late Amiel and Ellen Eaton Hunt, she had lived in Essex most of her life. She was a member of the South Pleasant Valley General Baptist Church near Dexter and of the Eastern Star.
On March 27, 1950, at Bernie, she married Jasper Junior Triplett who preceded her in death on April 11, 2001.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Imogene Williamson, and four brothers, Clifford Hunt, Herbert Hunt, Alvin Hunt and Clarence Hunt.
Surviving are: one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Sue Taul-Remmert and Robert Taul-Remmert; one sister, Evelene Metcalf of Crane; and three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Harold Carter officiating.
Burial will follow in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter.
