Della Wooten

ESSEX -- Della Wooten, 68, died April 24, 2012, at her home near Essex.

Born Nov. 2, 1943, at Wilson, Ark., to the late T.B. and Willie Mae Kelly Walker, she was a homemaker.

On Dec. 31, 1959, at Hayti, she married Dale E. Wooten, and he survives of the home near Essex.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Delbert and Cindy Wooten of Malden; two daughters and a son-in- law, Eloise "Sue" and Andrew Dauer of Labadie and Ella Dix of Dexter; one brother, J.B. Walker of Boaz, Ala.: one sister, Nancy Stratton of Boaz; and nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Kelvin Edward Wooten; and three sisters, Onie Lou Petty, Margie Jo Wooten and Dorothy Ann Pate.

A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in the Lighthouse Christian Center at Dexter with the Rev. Tim Russell officiating.
