SIKESTON -- The spotlight was on public radio at the Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon Thursday.
Amanda Lincoln, development director at KRCU Public Radio, which services regions of Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois, talked about the offerings to those in attendance.
"We are non-profit public radio," she said.
KRCU 90.9 FM is located in Cape Girardeau and the Sikeston area is included in its coverage area. Located on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University, under which it is licensed, the station broadcasts 24 hours a day and broadcasts several programs, in addition to playing jazz, blues and classical works.
