SIKESTON -- Richard Allen "Corky" Raines, 69, died at 4:44 p.m. April 27, 2012, in the emergency room at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Nov. 2, 1942, in Sikeston, to the late Cordie and Evelyn Ryan Raines, he had worked as a crew leader at Anchor Toy and later as a crew leader at Scott County Milling Company. He was a member of the Canalou Baptist Church.

On July 3, 1965, at Sikeston, he married Ann B. Brooksher, and she survives of the home.

Other survivors include: a daughter, Angela Raines of the home; three brothers, Jim Ryan, Tommy Raines and Tony Raines of Sikeston; two sisters, Pat Gregory and Martha Bradley of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Allen Raines Jr., two brothers and one sister.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Dewayne Coleman, pastor of Canalou Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Blodgett Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Jamie Wren, Harley Wren, Teddy Sweet, Dean Martin, Paul Martin and Jeff Martin.
