CHAFFEE -- The Chaffee Red Devils won their 20th game of the season Thursday pounding Saxony Lutheran 16-1 in five innings.
Alex Crowe picked up the win on the mound going all five innings and striking out three.
Leading 2-1 after three innings, Chaffee, who totaled 15 hits, broke the game open with five runs in the fourth and nine more in the fifth.
Cody Payne and Daniel Dooley each had three hits while Alex Davie and Layton Tenkhoff added two apiece.
Chaffee will host Oran today at 4 p.m.

BENTON -- Notre Dame clinched the SEMO Conference regular-season title with a five-inning road victory defeating the Kelly Hawks 15-0.
The Bulldogs, who improved to 18-2, had won the SEMO Conference tournamentMonday.
Mark Rives hit a triple in Thursdayıs win, while Jesse Schott and Josh Haggerdy both had a double.
Justin Landewee collected the win on the mound for the Bulldogs.

SENATH -- The New Madrid County Central Lady Eagles took care of Senath-Hornersville 12-1 Thursday in their final game of the year.
Michaela Townsend, who finished 16-1 this season, allowed six hits and struck out six.
Townsend and Mary Clara Hayes led the Lady Eagles (17-1) with three hits. Hayes had three doubles.
"It was a great year for us," NMCC head coach Steve Rogers said. "We're only losing two seniors and we're looking forward to another good year next season."
