EAST PRAIRIE -- Pauline Bennett, 90, died May 3, 2012, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.
Born Feb. 10, 1922, in Ripley, Tenn., to the late William and Clara Midget Kellick, she was a homemaker and a member of the East Prairie Retired Senior Volunteer Program for many years. She was of the Baptist belief.
She married Otis Bennett who preceded her in death in July 1996.
She was also preceded in death by one son, three brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include: one daughter, Sharon Aters of East Prairie; three grandchildren, Paula (and Rick) Matheney, Floyd Aters Jr. and Nathan Aters of East Prairie; three great-grandchildren, Zach Matheney, Lilly Matheney and Alyvia Matheney of East Prairie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held Saturday May 5, 2012, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston with the Revs. Rick Breeden, pastor of the Essex Apostolic Church, and Erick McGruder, pastor of the Full Gospel Church of East Prairie, officiating.
Burial followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
