PORTAGEVILLE -- Annette Tutor Morto, 78, died May 5, 2012, at her home.

Born Dec. 17, 1933, in Randolph, Miss., the late Christine McGreger Tutor and the Rev. Carvis Eudene Tutor, she was a pianist and vocalist.

On Dec. 16, 1951, in Pontotoc, Miss., she married Dr. Buck Morton who survives of the home.

In addition to her husband, survivors include: two sons, Alan L. Morton of Albany, Ga., and David Scott Morton of Memphis, Tenn.; two daughters, Christi Morton of Portageville and Donna Beth Murphy of Cordova, Miss.; one sister, Susan Tutor Eubanks of Knoxville, Tenn.; two brothers, Jimmy Tutor of Spring City, Tenn., and Harry Tutor of Knoxville, Tenn.; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Paulette Tutor, and two brothers, Joe Tutor and Johnny Tutor.

Services were conducted today at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Buck Morton officiation.

Burial followed in the West Height Baptist Church Cemetery in Pontotoc.

Pallbearers were the deacons of the First Baptist Church.

The DeLisle Funeral Home of Poratgeville was in charge of arrangements.
