ZALMA -- Linda J. Scott, 58, died May 13, 2012, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born Nov. 12, 1953, in Dexter, to the late Herbert and Mary Lorretta Edwards Burton, she worked as a caretaker at Sikeston Regional Center for 23 years. She was a member of Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Sturdivant.
In 1995, she married Larry Scott, and he survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Crystal Loretta Andrews of Chaffee; one stepdaughter, Suzann Scott of Sikeston; two brothers, Hubert Burton of Chaffee and Stevie Burton of Morley; three sisters, Carolyn Coram of Lowndes, Debbie Essner of Jackson and Lorie Daniels of Lowndes; and five grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one grandson.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m Wednesday at Faith Apostolic Church in Sturdivant with the Rev. Dale Holman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
