DEXTER -- Etter Beasley "Maxine" Hochart, 85, died May 13, 2012, at her home.

Born June 16, 1926, in Booneville, Miss., to the late George M. and Velma Leona Ashbey Thompson, she had lived in Dexter all of her life and was of the Pentecost belief.

On Aug. 19, 1946, she married Lonnie Beasley, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 1977.

She was also preceded in death by five brothers, R.L. Thompson, Robert Thompson, Virgil Thompson, James Stanley Thompson and Edward Thompson; and one grandson.

Survivors include: two sons, Bobby Ammons of Bowling Green, Ky., and Lonnie Beasley of Lawrence, Mich.; two daughters, Betty Woods of Dexter and Ruby Ryan of Thayer; one sister, Leona Woodruff of Booneville; and 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Jarod Hancock of Qulin officiating.

Burial will be in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton.
