After scoring the go-ahead goal in only the second minute of the game, Notre Dame went on push ahead 3-0 at the half. Notre Dame went up by four goals early in the second before running away to a 6-0 final.
"It was a tough game," Sikeston head coach Doyle Noe said. "Notre Dame definitely came to play today. They were the better team and they played well. We came out, were a little flat then and they scored right off the bat.
"They possessed the ball, were real quick and by the time we got going it was 2-0. We had good moments, but it just wasn't meant to be today. They had a lot of juniors and seniors on their team and we had a lot of young girls. It's definitely a growing experience for us."
Sikeston finishes the season at 8-14 and will lose only one senior, Amanda Allen.
