SALEM, Ill. -- Bill Marsh, 63, died May 14, 2012, at his home in the care of his family.
Born Feb. 4, 1949, in Sikeston, Mo., he was the son of Virginia Marsh of Sikeston and the late William R. Marsh. Bill was the photographer and owner of Digital Memories in Salem. He was a former co-owner of the Woolford-Marsh Appliance Store serving the community of Salem for many years. His memberships included SINA in both Mount Vernon and Centralia, the Salem Foundation and First Baptist Church in Salem. He was a former member of the Chamber of Commerce in both Salem and Centralia. He graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1971 and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha.
On May 30, 1970, in Sikeston, he married Katie Stallings, and she survives of the home.
Other survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Tara Marsh of Salem; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kerri and Shawn Richards and Leslie and Dr. Seth Hahs of Salem; one brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Pat Marsh of Sikeston; one sister and brother-in-law, Pam and John Burton of Sikeston; his mother-in-law, Carrie Stallings Henzi of Salem; and 10 grandchildren, Jonah and Isaac Richards; Luke, Claire, John and Barnabas Hahs; William, Olivia, Hudson and Charlotte Marsh.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Salem. Dr. Andy DeWitt and the Rev. Robert P. Ward will officiate.
Burial will follow in the East Lawn Cemetery in Salem.
