Brenda Bailey

PORTAGEVILLE -- Brenda Bailey, 64, died May 19, 2012, at Southeast Hospital Cape Girardeau.

Born July 23, 1947, in Hartzel, to the late Georgia Robinson Johnson and Alro Johnson, she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church where she served as the coordinator of the missions and was a Sunday school teacher.

On June 23, 1972, in Conran, she married Leroy Bailey, who survives of

the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Mike Johnson of Portageville; three sisters, Jeanette Kitchen of Jackson, Irma Rhodes of Scott City and Kathy Johnson of Scott City; two brothers, Kenny Johnson and Greg Johnson of Portageville; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were one son David Scott Johnson, and a granddaughter Bailey Payge Johnson.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the DeLisle Funeral Home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Assembly of God with the Rev. Eugene Poole officiating.

Burial will follow at the Portageville Cemetery.
