SIKESTON -- Colin Lumarr Speakman, 67, died May 23, 2012, at his daughter's home in Sikeston.
Born Aug. 6, 1944, in Graniteville, to the late Irving and Eva Speakman, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by: one daughter, Kimberly Arnold of Sikeston; three sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Wayne and Julie Speakman of Jackson, Steven and Emily Speakman of St. Louis and Scott and Carrie Speakman of Ste. Genevieve; one sister, Sharon Harrison of the state of Tennessee; and 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
A repass dinner will be held at 11:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Life Church in Sikeston. The Rev. David Craig, pastor, will officiate.
Inurnment is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
