KLONDIKE, Ill. -- Ollie Spillers, 67, died May 26, 2012, at his home.
Born Nov. 16, 1944, in Pinhook, to the late James and Annie Marshall Spillers, he was a retired U.S. Air Force jet mechanic. He was a member of the New Pleasant Grove Church in Klondike and was a member of the Cairo United Men's Choir.
On Jan. 15, 2003, he married Deborah Johnson, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Ollie Spillers Jr. of Milwaukee; two daughters, Deborah Purdiman of Madison and Patrice Spillers of Charleston, S.C.; two brothers, Alever Spillers and Larry Spillers of Milwaukee; two sisters, Hester Spillers of Aurora and Carrie Jeffro of Milwaukee; and 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Williams Funeral Home in Charleston. Paul Jones, pastor of New Beginning United Freewill Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial with full military honors will follow in the National Cemetery in Mound City.
