BARLOW, Ky. -- Mary Sue Stallings Drummond, 72, died May 30, 2012, at her home in Barlow.
Born March 9, 1940, in Mississippi County, Mo., to the late Marshall and Nellie Feezor Stallings, she taught school in Mississippi County for two years. Having lived in Barlow, a number of years, she started the first preschool in Ballard County.
On Aug. 6, 1960, she married Larry Drummond, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Chris Drummond of Barlow and Scott Drummond of Mobile, Ala.; one daughter, Kelley Henderson of Paducah; two brothers, Martin Stallings and Floyd Stallings of Charleston, Mo.; three sisters, Shirley Anderson of Charleston, Carol Knudson and Evelyn Pruitt of Paducah; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
Graveside services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston. Todd Myers will officiate.
Burial will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: Bart Stallings, Mark Stallings, Tony Anderson, Keith Edwards, Brent Thresher, Ryan Edwards, Blake Miller and Josh Miller.
