EAST PRAIRIE -- Looking for a way to get some exercise while contributing to charitable causes? The 11th annual Tour de Corn bicycle ride in East Prairie provides a means of doing so.
Silvey Barker, director of tourism for the city of East Prairie, said "it's a fun ride and it is a charity ride."
The ride consists of four different routes to enable people of varying skill levels to participate, she said. The routes are: the 15, 30, 60 and 100-mile loops.
According to Barker, over 800 riders from 14 different states are expected to participate in the event.
