NEW MADRID -- Mary Lou Clark was born Feb. 18, 1929, in Lapanto, Ark., to Eva Mae Parliment and William Thomas Stultz. She died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at her home in New Madrid at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 20 days.

She was united in marriage to Charles C. "Tip" Clark on April 21, 1946, in Mexico, Ky., and he preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 2009.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, Eva Mae Parliment and William Thomas Stultz; her son, Danny Joe Clark, on March 10, 2004; and two infant great-grandchildren, Ozzie Jones and Tyson Creasy.

She was a member of the New Madrid Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. She loved fishing with her husband Tip at their winter home in Florida, watching Cardinals baseball, gardening and playing cards with friends. She was a hair stylist for over 50 years. She loved spending precious time with her family most of all.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son and daughter-in-law, Gary L. Clark and his wife Kathy of Branson; daughters and sons-in-laws, Teresa Blunt and husband Larry of New Madrid, Tammy Jones and husband Johnny of New Madrid, Kem Clark-Tanner and Dr. Ann C. Agnew of Boise, Idaho; sisters, Betty Jean Clark of California, Jessie Johnson of Redding, Calif.; one brother, William Bill Stultz of Flint, Mich.; grandchildren, Christopher and Tina Clark, Jasen and Paige Jones, Dr. Shannon and Paulette Blunt, Brandon Clark, Tori and Jeff Creasy, Amber and T.J. Gould, Beth and Travis Smith and Brian Brickell; great-grandchildren, Sady Gould, Morgan, Kaitlyn and Delaney Clark, Nick Blunt, Aryonna Clark, Zoe Jones, Drew Brickell, Madison and Mason Smith, Abigail Gould, Talluhah Jones and a host of many relatives and friends.

Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Saturday at the New Madrid Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Lancaster officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.

The DeLisle Funeral Home of Portageville is in charge of arrangements.
