SIKESTON - Healthcare has gone mobile in Southeast Missouri.

A 38-foot-long specially designed bus is now bringing health and dental services to some of the smallest communities in the Bootheel thanks to a partnership between Southeast Missouri State University and the SEMO Health Network. The SHOW (Southeast Health on Wheels) Mobile has traveled area highways since Feb. 1.

"It is just like working out of a brick and mortar clinic, it is just on wheels," said Cheryl White, SEMO Health Network executive officer. The bus includes a medical exam area, full dental suite, lab and office area.
