PORTAGEVILLE - Joseph L. Partee, 71, died June 11, 2012, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born March 30, 1941, in Bokerton, to Atlean Young Partee and Elgie Partee, he was a retired employee of the Missouri Highway Department.
On May 6, 2005, in Portageville, he married Margaret Jackson, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are: two sons Brad Jones and Chucky Jones of Elcock, Ind.; three daughters, Edith Partee of Portageville, Stacey Jones of Elcock, and Anishia Hankins of Happy, Texas; two stepdaughters, Mattie Preyer of Portageville and Whittney Preyer of Portageville; three brothers, Willie Partee of St Louis, Robert Partee of Yazoo, Mo., and Charles Partee of Portageville; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Joe Partee; one daughter, Tammy Partee; and 11 brothers and six sisters.
Visitation will be from 5-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the DeLisle Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Reggie Grant will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Portageville Cemetery with full military rites.
