DEXTER -- Bessie Mae Wilson, 90, died June 13, 2012, at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Facility in Dexter.
Born Feb. 1, 1922, in Harrisburg, Ark., to the late James William and Bessie King Lane, she was a homemaker and a member of the Liberty Hill General Baptist Church in Aid.
On Jan. 11, 1941, in Bloomfield, she married Harold Conny, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 1976.
She also was preceded in death by seven brothers, J.B. Lane, Pledge Lane, Lynn Lane, Harry Lane, E.M. "Blue" Lane, William Lane and Bert Lane; and four sisters, Georgia Ray Robinson, Louise Blunt, Molly Early and Mildred Lane.
Survivors include: one son, Leonard Harold Wilson of Bloomfield; two daughters, Marilyn "Sue" Smith of Doniphan and Connie Jo Walker of Bloomfield; six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Shannon W. Smith officiating.
Burial followed in the Dexter Cemetery.
