LILBOURN -- Franklin Robinson McFerren, 55, died June 17, 2012, at his home.
Born April 3, 1957, in Lilbourn, to Pauline McFerren Robinson of Chicago and the late Franklin D. Robinson, he was a 1975 graduate of Lilbourn High School. He attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and Lincoln University in Jefferson City. He was employed by Digby's Detective and Security Agency in Chicago before retiring and was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn.
On May 9, 2003, he married Cathola Ann Smith who survives of the home.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by: three sons, Franklin Delano McFerren Jr. of Chicago, Marcus Price of Austin, Texas, and Rhylin Price of Killeen, Texas; three daughters, LeKesiah Patterson serving with the U.S. Navy in South Fork, Va., Dana Frazier of Howardville and Brionna Hill of Chicago; one brother, Bruce Allen Robinson of Chicago; three sisters, Vanessa Moore, Valerie Porter and Myra Robinson of Chicago; and 19 grandchildren.
Visitation is from noon until time of services at 1 p.m Saturday at the New Madrid Baptist Church, located at 1240 Scott St., with the Rev. Earnest Willis officiating.
