FREDERICKTOWN -- Rosemary Garrett O'Dell, 64, formerly of East Prairie, died at 12:10 a.m. June 18, 2012, in the Madison Memorial Hospital in Fredericktown.
Born Oct. 30, 1947, in Dorena, to the late Burrow and Lovie Irene Pope Garrett, she lived in Fredericktown for the past 16 years moving from East Prairie. She was of the Baptist belief.
In 1981, she married Alvin Lee O'Dell, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Jimmy Lee Smith of Moberly and Preston Smith Jr. of Sikeston; two daughters and one son-in-law, Tammy Lynn and Richard Lee McDowell of Sedgewickville and Carolyn Marie Smith of Fredericktown; five stepsons, Leroy O'Dell of Cape Girardeau, Jimmy O'Dell stationed in Oregon with the U.S. Navy; Steve O'Dell of Baton Rouge, La., Sandy O'Dell of Los Angeles and Raymond O'Dell of Fisher, Ind.; two stepdaughters and one son-in-law, Lisa Jean and Mark Woods of East Prairie and Terrie Joann Graham of Potosi, and seven grandchildren, one stepgrandson and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, one son, Ronnie Ray Graham; and two stepsons, Danny O'Dell and Kenny O'Dell, preceded her in death.
A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
