Squirrels fall in first game at Paducah

PADUCAH, Ky. -- During their first game of a Paducah Invitational Tournament, the Charleston Fighting Squirrels lost 13-5 to Terre Haute, Ind.

Ryan Fortner led the Squirrels with two hits including a home run. Jacob Wilson had one hit and three RBI while Ethan Browning, Zac Chasteen and Dalton Golightly each added a hit as well.

Paul Fox ended up being tagged with the loss after 85 pitches on the mound. He walked five, allowed eight hits and 10 earned runs. Fox also struck out two.

Terre Haute ended up with nine total hits.
