COMMERCE -- Terry Edward DeHart, 56, died June 29, 2012, at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Nov. 23, 1955, in Paragould, Ark., son of James Edward and Peggy Ann Hart DeHart of Diehlstadt, he was a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.
On Oct. 5, 1974, at Commerce, he married Patricia Ann Johnson who survives of the home.
Other survivors in addition to his wife and parents include: a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Beth DeHart of Benton; a daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Steve Moore of Kelso; two brothers, David DeHart of Sikeston and Eric DeHart of Commerce; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Leighann DeHart.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Johnny Hester will officiate assisted by the Rev. Dennis Lowe.
Burial will be in the Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce.
