Carolyn Porche

JACKSON -- Carolyn Joan Porche, 69 years, five months and 11 days, a resident of Jackson, passed away Friday June 29, 2012, at Jackson Manor.

Born Jan. 18, 1943, in Sikeston, to the late James David and Saphrey Juanita Pruitt Crawford, Carolyn married Carlton Joseph Porche, who survives of the home, on June 12, 1965, in Hinesville, Ga.

Survivors other than her husband include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Randy and Pamela Porche of Loveland, Colo., Carlton Porche Jr. of Jackson and Danny and Shannon Porche of Houma, La.; one daughter and son-in-law, Ronda and Jeff Bull of Houma; two brothers, George Crawford of Sikeston and Danny Crawford of Kennett; four sisters, Dorthy Florence, Linda Cole, Ruthann Jefferies and Juanita Robinson all of Sikeston; nine grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Joshua, Kamren, Konner, Karson, Kolton, Jeffery, Ashley and Lindsey; and a host of relatives and many friends.

Two brothers, Jimmy and Ray Crawford, and one sister, Ellen Greenlee, preceded Carolyn in death.

Graveside services were held today at the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie with David Israll officiating.

The Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie was in charge of arrangements.
