SIKESTON - DeAngelo Williams, 19, died June 30, 2012, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau the result of gunshot wounds.

Born June 16, 1993, in St. Louis, the adopted son of Chester and Lesia Brown Williams of Sikeston, he attended Sikeston Public Schools and was of the Baptist belief.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his biological parents, Louise Washington of St. Louis and Nigel Easton of Charleston; two sons, Kaleb Williams of Cape Girardeau and DeAngelo Williams of New Madrid; seven brothers, Miguel Brown, Cortez Washington, and Orlando Whalen of Sikeston, Jermaine Washington, Robert Mull, Sharron Crenshaw and Lashawn Washington of St. Louis; three sisters, Makiala Williams and Jasmine Thomas of Sikeston and Sharell Hall of St. Louis; maternal grandmother, Barbara Brown of Sikeston; maternal grandfather, Louis Washington of Chicago; and paternal grandfather, Freddie Bowens of Cape Girardeau.

Visitation will begin at noon Saturday at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston until time of services at 1 p.m. Saturday. Elder Calvin Bird will officiate.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston under the direction of the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston.
