The Trailblazers program, a walking club, is set to kick off Aug. 7 at the new trail in the Recreation Complex next to the Clinton Building. The program is sponsored by the Scott County Health Department in cooperation with the city of Sikeston Parks Division. Membership is free and open to the public.

"With this terrific new trail at their disposal, we want to see them take the opportunity to develop regular exercise routines -- walking, jogging, biking -- anything that will burn calories and increase fitness!"
