CHARLESTON - Two area men are charged with stealing and more arrests are expected.
"Our county as many neighboring counties have been experiencing an increase of burglaries. We are currently investigating these cases and have leads and suspects on several of these crimes, which we hope clear soon," said Mississippi County Sheriff Keith Moore.
Arrested on separate offenses were 34-year-old James Brice Owens of East Prairie and Kevin Wayne Scott, 36, of Morley.
Owens is charged with receiving stolen property and stealing. He was released after posting a $7,500 bond.
