DEXTER -- R.C. "Randel" Tucker, 88, died July 14, 2012, at the Cypress Point Care Center in Dexter.
Born May 8, 1924, in Geronimo, Okla., to the late W.E. and Estalee Romaines Tucker, he worked at Elder Manufacturing Company for many years before establishing his own custom machine hay baling business. He attended the New Bethel General Baptist Church for 56 years.
On Nov. 25, 1942, in Puxico, he married Mildred Duckworth who survives.
Other survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and James Williamson of Bloomfield and Thelma and Jimmy Thompson of Dexter; one daughter-in-law, Rosemary Frailey Phillips of Union; one brother, Alvie George Tucker of Alton, Ill.; and five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Hayward Frailey; one son-in-law, James Williamson; and two brothers, J.D. Tucker and Wayne Tucker.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Dean Williams of Dexter officiating.
Burial will follow in the Essex Cemetery in Dexter.
